Welcome to the College Sport Research Institute (CSRI). Our mission is to encourage and support interdisciplinary and inter-university college sport research, serve as the research consortium for college sport researchers from across the United States, and disseminate college sport research results to academics, college practitioners, and the general public.
About the Conference.
Our annual conference provides researchers from across the United States a forum for sharing their innovative college sport research. This year’s event marks the 16th anniversary of the CSRI Conference and is set for March 19-21, 2025 in Columbia, SC.
About the Journal.
The College Sport Research Institute is pleased to sponsor the Journal of Issues in Intercollegiate Athletics, the peer-reviewed, scholarly, and open-access journal dedicated to encouraging, supporting, and disseminating current college sport research.
About the Collections.
CSRI’s College Sport Collections are dedicated to the preservation, celebration, and study of artifacts that are critical to college sport history, including the Jerry and Lois Tarkanian Collection and the Mary Willingham Papers.
About the Reports.
Our annual AGG Report identifies gaps in NCAA and federal graduation rates between athletes and non-athletes based on demographic variables and type of sport participation.
